Kit Selection

The current standard, AS 2303:2015, provides a guide for engineers, landscapers and contractors selecting trees to determine whether a tree meets specification before it is planted. It gives users a way to check for obvious quality problems over different parts of the tree as well as ensuring that the tree’s root ball and shoots have the right proportions.

This measure is known as the Size Index and is like the Body Mass Index that is used to check a person’s weight range. To choose the right HULK tree kit for the job it is necessary to understand the Size Index.

Underground Tree Kits

With above and below ground options, HULK earth anchor tree kits offer immediate use anchoring technology to stabilise and secure newly planted trees.

Available in three variants including, Earth Anchors, Concrete Anchors and Deadman Anchors. The versatility of the HULK Underground Tree Kit range allows for the anchoring of newly planted trees in environments from urban rooftop gardens, to wide open parkland and rural spaces, and everything in-between.

Tree Kits

HULK Tree Guy Kits provide an above ground solution to professionally secure newly planted trees, or existing trees requiring temporary stabilisation. Supplied in ready to use kits, components include tree guying assemblies with anchors, protective tree collars, and wire rope grips. An integral turnbuckle* allows for fine tuning of guy line tension during installation.

Specialist Palm Tree kits are also available which include a tree collar to aid in attaching guy-lines to the tree. All kits are available in a range of sizes in 3 leg, and 4 leg variants, to anchor trees up to 12 meters tall.
